Overview of the awards
In 2011, then editor-in-chief, Ziv J Haskal, MD, FSIR, inaugurated two prestigious annual Journal of Vascular and Interventional Radiology (JVIR) awards:
-
The JVIR Editor’s Award for Outstanding Clinical Research Paper
-

These awards acknowledge essential, best-in-class research conducted in interventional radiology and published in JVIR. The awardees were chosen by a review of all manuscripts published in the previous year, voted by the editorial board members and selected by Editor-in-Chief Daniel Y. Sze, MD, PhD, FSIR.
The chosen articles represent research that may substantially impact the IR community at present or in the future.
